There are veils and then there are veils sporting the viva la difference factor. Sara Gabriel's veils and headpieces meet the gold standard of fashion using quality materials with a few inventive touches added. When I first saw her pieces, I realized how each could show off a gown to its best advantage, tying in beautifully to create an overall picture of the bride. Denver-based, Sara Gabriel is a custom designer of veils and a bridal milliner. While most brides are still buying veils off the rack, a few are learning that customizing what's on top of your head can be as important as the gown itself. I'd say the veil and/or headpiece (or hat) is the most important accessory a bride will invest in. Head chic tops off your whole look. On Sara's site you'll find detailed renderings in the veil collection from the shortest and sassiest little poufs to long styles sweeping the floor, some trimmed in Alencon laces, crystals and pearls. Her headpieces range from exquisite sea shell stick pins to fresh water pearl and Swarovski crystal tiaras.
