    Lately gold has played center stage in weddings as well as on the runways. Gowns have either hints of it here and there or full silhouettes from head to toe, some going to the max in metallic lames and taffetas. So what is our fascination with gold? Is it yet another opportunity with which to break tradition in the bridal fashion arena? Perhaps. No longer just an evening or autumn tone, gold is showing up like first breath in Spring collections.
